my mind goes blank..

...whenever I think of the life after student-life.Which includes everything.

The wedding, the after wedding, the responsibilities as a wife, the work, the juggling btwn work & wifey duty, work , work, work..

OK, the work part is unimaginable. As a student, I have been going to hospital almost everyday for the past 3years. But it is not enough to give the clear picture what housemanship is all about .. DUH ! all we do is take case, present case, and study. JUST A CASE daily. Housemen usually take 20cases per day? or 50 ++ in outpatient? darn, i really don't know.

It is fun to graduate. To hear people call you doctor & congratulate for your 5years achievement. But actual speaking, it is a huge responsibilities. Handling lives are not as easy as handling money, computer, cars, pen & papers. You and me are a living object. We breathe, we grow, we live, we think, we remember and we have emotions.

But beneath all the scary eery feelings, it is still exciting to actually handle lives. Feels heroic ;))

I often think on how life would be after working. But nothing come to the picture. except for a big Question mark.

I'm not perfect, but I aim for perfections. Hence , I do plan for this and that but when it comes to life when working.. I could only HOPE. and pray ofcourse. For His eternal best most guidance & help.

What I hope is,, to be a good doctor and a good wife. A good daughter to both families and a good mother in future. These are my hopes. Words sounded so BIG with no clear picture in it. NO CLEAR PICTURE AT ALL..

Dr. Fadzilah Kamsah mentioned before. To aim for something, you have to have a clear picture. eg : I should say I want to be a good daughter by learning how to cook , rather than I want to be a good daughter. COOK is a picture. GOOD is not a picture.

hahaha! NOW, I can't give the clear picture. Because I have not experience most of the hopes except for being a daughter of Effandie & Khadijah.

There's a quote saying, "you will not know the depth of the sea until you enter the sea" .. I will not know what I will go through in future and how to handle them until I am in it.

Let's hope for the best , shall we ;))

aku suka tomyam, tapi malam tadi.....

I am a Malay Malaysian and OBVIOUSLY my taste buds are for Malay food. My friends and I would usually prefer to go to Malay restaurant for Dinner on weekdays in Melacca.

Today on 27th December 2010, my friend & I went to this place in Melaka called R&K restaurant for their famous satay specially cooked with somekind of special method. I'm a big fat fan of satays FYI ! so YEAH, i'd agreed to go there for dinner .. for the satay.

The place is nice from outside. Clean, big, proper chairs and tables , unlike the normal warongs by the road side.

So we ordered SATAY. and yes, satay was great there.. I wouldn't give score of 10/10 but it was one of the best. Prolly 7/10.

And we ordered our dinner too ! I ordered tomyam daging. My friends ordered sotong masak merah , udang sambal and ayam masak pedas.

THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my tomyam tasted like asam laksa magii with cili padi added into it. REALLY REALLY SOUR + REALLY REALLY SPICY .. really really tak sedap !
ok the spicy part I am emphasizing more because it really tasted just spicy ! you know when a spicy food is nice because they have other tastes as well? but this one is TOO SPICY and SOUR. omg ! I took a sipped, my stomach ache thousands !

Mind you, I usually can tolerate tomyams because they are my favourite dish ! even how bad the spicy is, I WILL TOLERATE BECAUSE THEY ARE TASTY. but if spicy and non palatable, I definitely can't tolerate..

I tasted my friends and they are almost the same ! the sambal udang tasted exactly like the SAMBAL PASTE from the bottle, that they pour into a cooking pan, and added udang in it.. taadaaa -- they called that sambal udang ! ! ! horrribbbleeeeee... it is spicy with a stinging sensation . eeeeeeeeeee !

and the ayam masak pedas, tasted hangus.

Eventhough it was horrible, I managed to finish my rice.

I'm really fustrated at how some Malays do their food business, especially those serving malay dishes.

Sometimes, they think they know how to cook laksa johor but they used ikan kembong when ikan parang supposed to be used. Masak merah cooked simply with tomato sauce mixed with chili sause. and sometimes, sweet & sour tasted the same as masak merah ! padprik & kicap also tasted the same. Prolly padprik has more chillies as compared to normal kicap. And as mentioned as the above..

They cheat in doing business and their price is unreasonable with the horrible food they served..

Eventhough I complained endlessly, I Alhamdulillah after meal, thanking Allah for blessing me with food. & I prayed, hopefully other days would not be as unlucky as today. And hopefully other Malays who served malay food , would do it sincerely and prepare the food well.

It made my day

Random someone made my day today at the accident & emergency department.

I don't usually put up make-ups except when I'm attending special occasions/events, or going out for dinners, and to the shopping malls. Powder, eyeliner and lipgloss would just do it for malls.

I am posted in A&E dept for the next 3weeks and today is my 3rd day. I realized this really pretty chinese girl , a houseman, who wears make-up everyday. It is not just another basic ones.

Foundation, blusher, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick.. everything complete ! and she looks pretty & awesomely presentable. I admired the way she brings herself. OMG, i'm a girl and she captured my eye. I wonder how many other men out there would be mesmerized looking at her :) I'm not exaggerating, but she's pretty. And the beauty stands out more with her talent on applying make-ups.

Some doctors looked terrible especially the morning after their exhausting night duty. People who have a quick glance might questioned if he/she showered before the morning rounds. And some really couldn't care much on how they appear.

Oh well, as long as you look clean & healthy & neat is OOOKAAAYYY for a doctor.

The fact that she has time to put up make up beautifully and neatly, draws my admiration. Not many people can do that. I? of course not ! I usually wake up 20minutes before sessions starts !

10 minutes in the shower, 5 minutes to dress up and 5 minutes to ride to the hospital. I treasure my sleep so much I don't care if I don't look beautiful. as long as i'm clean & neat.

AND, what made my day today was. This chinese houseman, who is pretty, approached me today.

DR: girl ! girl !
ME : oh,... yes?
DR: are you chinese?
ME : i'm not.
DR: what's your name?
ME: Ezyana
DR: ooo.. pretty la you ! (with a smile)
ME: oooo.. (smiles back) thanks.

and went away, blushing. LOL !

gulp ! a pretty houseman tells me that i'm pretty ! and i'm not even wearing any make-up. I felt WOWWWWWWWWW ! :D:D:D
for what matters, it really made my day !!THANKYOUUUUUUUUUUUUU !

I wished I could tell her that she looks even prettier ! maybe I was too shocked. or maybe because I felt too junior around the doctors hence brings down my confidence to say wtvr I want to say. OR I DON't know! damn! oh well, just hope that the doctor would read this post one day :P WHAHAHAAHAH ! thanks for making my day ! ;)

.... is my alarm clock

Traditionally, before a girl marry her man, she would be encouraged to recite whole book of Al-Quran. After completing that, there will be a ceremony called Khatam Al-Quran few days before the solemnization ceremony.

Actually, unquote that..

All Muslims are encouraged to recite whole book before they end their life. Other religions might questioned - aren't you supposed to recite them daily ? --> Of course some would do during their free time but not the whole book at one go. And some prefer to recite only certain Surah ( Story ) regularly.

And Al-Quran has its own beauty and story where full concentration is needed to recite them. Al-Quran has 30 chapters (juzuk). One chapter consists of 20pages. To complete reciting one chapter might take approximately 1 hour half or 2hours.

So, since wedding is in 7 months ++ time, I had started reciting Al-Quran from the first chapter, in hope to Qatam for the 2nd time before the wedding day. I started it since fasting month in August this year. And since I am home only on weekends, my progress is a little slow mo. ! I prefer morning sessions because I want to go out freely in the afternoon.

FYI, I am very well known of my super "uncool" sleeping habit ! I SLEEP SOUNDLY , even an earthquake won't shake me up !

so.. here's what happened recently..

Usually when my mom is home, she would be my morning alarm clock. A very LOUD one. heeh !

However , she had gone to UK last week. Hence last weekend, she was not around to wake me up.
My mom, very genious she is, who knows her daughter very very very well, gave an advice to ustazah, to give me a wake up call before pushing off from her house.. haahah!

and the funny thing was, after waking me up on one of the days , she did not hung up after. and OBVIOUSLY, I could actually hear her from my end. She was telling her husband something like this..

" budak ni kena telepon. kalau tak dia tak bangun "

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but for all that matters, Thank You ustazah for the wake up calls and teaching. heheehe ;))

no can do

One of the not-cool-stuff you've got to deal with once you are planning to get married is...

TO CUT DOWN SHOPPING and only shop for the important stuffs...
ONLY !!!! sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..

I loved shopping ! Who doesn't? Boys and girls , are equal. Maybe differ in terms of the things they purchased.

I go to malls almost everyweekend , because that is the only place where I can find leisure outside home. It is nice to go to malls. Air-conditioned, clean, easy to find food and I get to see pretty stuffs while walking. Able to buy what I liked tooo !!!..

My boyfriend..oops, FIANCE always had to remind me to save save save and not to shop shop shop. I listened to him. I really do. but, the problem is.. He and I are no different! We binged shopping ! Once the mood is there, we shop for whatever we like without inhibition.

OK let's return to the main topic. I am truly blessed to have parents who would support me, but I need to save too !
I hope with a little savings, there are small little things where I can contribute. The gifts for the groom, or the makeup artist or photographer or the spas & facials ! Hence, i've got to save ! :-s

It is difficult.

And since my sister AKA my shopping-mate is back for 3months, is not of any help either !

Worst more, I tried to resist shopping malls for shopping purposes BUT I just did online shopping 2 days ago.......
